Over the past few years, Diesel Electric Services has rebuilt several locomotives for Cando Rail Services. All major components such as engines, wheel and truck assemblies, cab interiors, generators and rotating equipment was overhauled. Air systems were upgraded and locomotives were also painted in the customers new paint scheme. Locomotive types ranged from EMD SD40-2’s to EMD GP9’s. We have also performed field services for Cando as required across Canada.
